Let \(F\) be a continuous real-valued function on \({\mathbb{C}}^n\) and let \(L(F)\) be the set of all locally integrable functions \(v\) that satisfy the estimate \(v(z)\leq F(z)\), \(z\in{\mathbb{C}}^n\). \(M(\delta)\) denotes the class of positive Radon measures \(\mu\) with compact support in \({\mathbb{C}}^n\) such that \(\int h d\mu = h(0)\) for any pluriharmonic function \(h\). The following main theorem is proved: If given subharmonic function \(u\), \(u\not\equiv 0\), on \({\mathbb{C}}^n\) there exists a pluriharmonic function \(h\) such that \(u+h\in L(F)\), then \(\int u d\mu \leq \int F d\mu + C\) for any \(\mu \in M(\delta)\) and some constant \(C\). Conversely, if that inequality is satisfied with some constant \(C\) independent of \(\mu \in M(\delta)\), then there exists a pluriharmonic function \(h\) such that \(u+h\in L(F\ast \sigma)\), where \(\sigma\) is the normalized Lebesgue measure on the unit ball in \({\mathbb{C}}^n\). Applying this theorem to \(u=\log |f|\), where \(f\) is an entire function, the author studies the description of zero sets of the class of entire functions \(f\) such that \(\log |f|\in L(F)\). The problem of representing a meromorphic function \(\phi\) on \({\mathbb{C}}^n\) by the ratio \(f/g\) of two entire functions \(f\) and \(g\) satisfying given growth restrictions \(\log |f|\), \(\log |g|\in L(F)\) is also considered.
