The chaotic nature of the geodesic flow on an \(N+1\)-dimensional Kleinian manifold is studied. Let \(D^{N+1}\) denote the unit ball in \(\mathbb{R}^{N+ 1}\), equipped with the hyperbolic metric \(d\). A Kleinian group \(G\) is, by definition, a discrete subgroup of all \(d\)-isometries of \(D^{N+1}\). Denote \(M_G= D^{N+1}/G\). Geodesics in \(M_G\) are precisely projections of geodesics in \(D^{N+1}\). Let \({\mathcal R}_x\) denote the set of \(x\)-recurrent initial data, where a geodesic ray \(\sigma\) in \(M_G\) with initial point \(x\in M_G\) is called \(x\)-recurrent initial data iff there exists a compact region in \(M_G\), such that \(x\in M_G\) travelling along \(\sigma\) either eventually remains in this region or returns there infinitely often. An element \(\sigma\in {\mathcal R}_x\) is called Myrberg initial data iff it satisfies certain additional conditions. The set of limit points which correspond to the Myrberg initial data is denoted \(L_{\mathcal M}(G)\). Let \(\mu\) be the Patterson measure, that is an ergodic, \(\delta\)-conformal probability measure supported by the limit set \(L(G)\). The main result of the paper is as follows: Let \(G< \text{Con} (N)\) be a Kleinian group. Then \(L_{\mathcal M} (G)\) has positive Patterson measure iff the action of \(G\) on \(S^n\times S^n\) is ergodic with respect to \(\mu \times \mu\). This result allows the author to generalize the Myrberg density theorem to Kleinian groups whose exponent of convergence \(\delta\) exceeds \(N/2\) and which are of \(\delta\)-divergence type.
