Theory of nonlinear partial differential equations of the Korteweg-de Vries type (Q1360733)

We consider the equation \[ u_{xxt}+ u^mu_{xxx}- u_t- u^mu_x= f(t,x,u(t,x)),\;(t,x)\in G_2(T),\tag{1} \] where \(G_2(w)= [0,w]\times\mathbb{R}\), and \(T\) is a prescribed number, with the initial condition \[ u(0,x)=\varphi(x),\quad \varphi^{(k)}(\pm\infty)=0,\quad x\in\mathbb{R},\quad k=0,1,\tag{2} \] and the limit boundary conditions \(u(t,\pm\infty)=0\). To prove the existence of a solution of problem (1), (2), we convert it to a nonlinear integral equation.
