Formal solutions and factorization of differential operators with power series coefficients (Q1360961)

Ordinary linear differential equations and their solutions are considered. A method is proposed for computing the solutions of such equations. The method is based on factorization of the corresponding differential operators. The description of the factorization properties and characterization of the formal solutions is given in terms of exponential parts introduced by the author.
