Let \((Y,y)\) be a toric singularity, i.e. \(y\) is a singular point of an affine toric variety \(Y\). In a previous paper [see \textit{K. Altmann}, J. Pure Appl. Algebra 95, No. 3, 239-259 (1994; Zbl 0845.14027)], the author computed the space \(T^1_Y\) of first order infinitesimal deformations of \((Y,y)\) explicitly. In the paper under review he continues this investigation by computing the obstruction space \(T^2_Y\) and the cup product \(T^1_Y\times T^1_Y\to T^2_Y\). One also determines the graded pieces (induced by the character group of the torus) of the modules \(T^i_Y\). To illustrate the results, in the final part of the paper the author pays a special attention to the \(3\)-dimensional toric Gorenstein singularities.
