This article deals with the evolutionary problem of type \[ -{du\over dt}\in A(t)u(t)\qquad (0\leq t\leq T), \] where \(A(t): D(A(t))(\subseteq H)\mapsto 2^H\) is a maximal monotone operator in a Hilbert space \(H\) for every \(t\in [0,T]\), and the dependence \(t\mapsto A(t)\) is continuous in the following sense: \[ \text{dis}(A(t), A(s))\leq r(r)-r(s)\qquad (0\leq s<t\leq T), \] where \(\text{dis}(A_1,A_2)\) is the Vladimirov pseudo-distance between \(A_j: D(A_j)\mapsto 2^H\) \((j=1,2)\) defined by the formula \[ \text{dis}(A_1,A_2)= \sup\Biggl\{{\langle y-\overline y,\overline x-x\rangle\over 1+|y|+|\overline y|}: x\in D(A_1), y\in A_1x, \overline x\in D(A_2), \overline y\in A_2\overline x\Biggr\}, \] and \(r(\cdot)\) is either a function of bounded variation, or an absolutely continuous function. The main results are the local existence and uniqueness theorem of a solution of bounded variation under the condition that \(\inf|A(t)x|\) is bounded at each ball \(|x|\leq r\) uniformly with respect to \(t\in[0,1]\), and global existence and uniqueness theorems of bounded variation and absolutely continuous solutions under the condition that \(\inf|A(t)x|\) is a sublinear function. In both cases solutions are understood as solutions everywhere.
