The authors present a principle of finding optimal systems of the direct transmission of information that are simulated by the triad source-stochastic filter-receiver. A stochastic filter-channel is an engineering system, placed between a source and a receiver, without division into a coder, a communication line, and a decoder. The components of the triad are described by known statistical characteristics.
