    The authors study the following nonlinear second-order differential equation \[ y'' = \alpha q_0 (x) (1 + r_0 (x)) y^n {y'}^m, \] on the \(t\)-interval \([x_0,b)\), where \(-\infty < x_0 < b \leq \infty\); \(\alpha \in \{-1,1\}\); \(n = 1 - m\); \(m = {{m_1}\over{m_2}}\); \(m_1\) and \(m_2\) are integers; \(m_2\) is odd; \(q_0: [x_0,b) \to (0,\infty)\) is \(k\)-times continuously-differentiable function; \(k \in \{1,2\}\). With some additional conditions there are obtained explicit formulae for solutions of the considered equation. The paper contains six theorems describing the solutions and its asymptotic behavior. There are given a line of proofs of the theorems.
