The metric space of the Riemann surfaces over the sphere (Q1363877)

The author constructs a metric \(p\) on the space \(\text{Ob} (\overline{\mathcal {RP}})\) of the Riemannian surfaces over \(\overline{\mathbb{C}}\) completed with the points of \(\overline{\mathbb{C}}\). It is shown that a sequence \(\{\alpha_m\}\) from \(\text{Ob} (\overline{\mathcal {RP}})\) regularly converges to an element \(\alpha\in \text{Ob} (\overline{\mathcal {RP}})\) if and only if \(p(\alpha_m, \alpha)\to 0\), as \(m\to\infty\).
