The system of linear differential equations \((*)\) \(y'= Ay\), where \(y\) is an \(n\)-dimensional vector and \(A\) a constant \(n\times n\)-matrix, is considered and the problem of reducing \((*)\) to the quasitriangular (quasidiagonal) form by the substitution of variables \(y= G\mathbb{Z}\) (\(G\) a constant \(n\times n\)-matrix) is studied. The purpose of this paper is a further development of linear methods of transforming \((*)\). There is e.g. proved that if the coefficient matrix \(A\) of system \((*)\) has multiple eigenvalues, then \((*)\) may be transformed into the above-mentioned forms by linear methods.
