The authors prove existence of generalized solutions of the Stokes system \[ \overline\rho {\partial\overset{\rightharpoonup} u\over\partial t}= \mu\Delta\overset{\rightharpoonup} u+ (\mu+\lambda)\nabla(\text{div } \overset{\rightharpoonup} u)-\nabla P,\quad {\partial\rho\partial t}+\text{div}(\rho \overset{\rightharpoonup} u)=0,\quad P=P(\rho) \] for any (finite) number of spatial variables. Moreover, they show that the generalized solutions are smooth in case of sufficiently smooth initial data. Reviewer's remark: The English translation is very poor. Translators should have a minimal knowledge of the mathematical background and the English usage.
