Liberty space of a convex subset of \(\mathbb{R}^ n\) (Q1364292)

Let \((E,|\cdot |)\) be the \(n\)-dimensional Euclidean space and denote by \({\mathcal C}\) the family of all convex subsets of \(E\), and set for \(C\in {\mathcal C}\) \[ C_\infty =\bigl \{d \in E: \overline C+ \{d\} \subseteq \overline C\bigr\}. \] For a given convex set \(C\) the author considers the set \(\ell(C)= (C-C)_\infty\). Various geometric properties of \(\ell(C)\) are investigated.
