This paper is a continuation of the authors' earlier investigation [see \textit{M. Bonk, D. Minda} and \textit{H. Yanagihara} [J. Anal. Math. 69, 73-95 73-95 (1996; Zbl 0874.30026)] of distortion theorems for Bloch functions. A holomorphic function \(f\) defined on the unit disk \(D\) is called a Bloch function if \[ \|f\|_B= \sup\biggl \{\bigl(1- |z |^2 \bigr) \bigl|f'(z) \bigr|: z\in D\biggr\} <\infty. \] For \(\alpha \in [0,1]\), let \(B_1(\alpha)\) denote the class of Bloch functions, \(f\), which are normalized by \(\|f\|_B\leq 1\), \(f(0)=0\) and \(f'(0)= \alpha\). The subordination result (Theorem 1 of Section 4) established for the class \(B_1(\alpha)\) yields numerous growth, distortion, curvature and covering theorems for \(B_1(\alpha)\) (Section 5).
