The quasiparticle density of states of an ideal type II superconductor under strong magnetic field, and the scattering rate of the quasiparticles due to the appearance of the superconducting order parameter are studied by a converging quantum mechanical wave packet dynamic on a grid. The solution of the Gorkov equation and the Chebyshev propagation scheme are used to perform numerically converging quantum mechanical calculations. A quasiparticle density of states and its dependence on the Fermi energy are shown.
