It is known [see \textit{C. Gutierrez}, Ergodic Theory Dyn. Syst. 6, 17-44 (1986; Zbl 0606.58042)] that on a closed surface, every minimal set of a \(C^r(r\geq 2)\) flow is trivial, but it is possible for a \(C^0\) flow to contain nontrivial minimal sets. The purpose of the present note is to obtain necessary and sufficient conditions in order to a \(C^0\) flow \(f\) on a closed surface \(M\), orientable or non-orientable of which all singular points are isolated, to have the pseudo-orbit tracing property.
