The author studies the fast rotations of a rigid body with a fixed point subject to a purely positional potential. The problem is equivalent to a small perturbation of the Euler system. Following the Arnold's scheme for the \(N\)-body problem, the author removes the degeneracy in the unperturbed system. This allows that the KAM theorem can be applied. A qualitative description of the motion is obtained, that corresponds to the sufficiently large initial kinetic energy.
