The flows on the set of matrices that evolve with their eigenvalues preserved (named ``isospectral flows'') are studied. It is shown that an \(m\)-fold multiple bracket equation describes gradient flows on adjoint orbits with respect to certain metrics when \(m\) is even. The multiple bracket generalization of Brockett's equation is also investigated. An example of the dynamical systems of more generalized bracket forms is presented in detail. The paper suggests a generalized viewpoint of multiple bracket equations for researching single or double bracket equations.
