The authors discuss the methods which have been developed earlier to obtain results for nonlinear magnetic moments. These methods involve the numerical implementation of a perturbation scheme in which the small expansion parameter is the ratio of an effective penetration depth to a characteristic dimension of the superconductor. Section II discusses nonlinear Maxwell-London equations. Section III deals with the geometrical shapes. Section IV discusses the computation of the magnetic moment and displayes the main results. Numerical considerations are given in Section V. A detailed example is provided in Section VI, and in Section VII one gives conclusions and guidelines for possible improvements and generalizations.
