The author presents a consistent theory of the Maxwell electromagnetic field and point-like particles interacting with each other. The main observation of the author is the fact that the Maxwell equations alone enable one to calculate the acceleration of point-like particles from the field Cauchy data. Based on this observation, the author develops a mathematically consistent theory, where the particle is described completely by its position and velocity. Moreover, the proposed theory is renormalized, i.e., no infinities arise.
