It is known that the Gromov-Witten invariants of a Fano variety define the structure of a Frobenius algebra on the even part \(W = H^{ev}(V,{\mathbb C})\) of the graded cohomology space of \(V\). This structure depends on the choice of a cohomology class \(w\in W\). It is conjectured that the inhomogeneous Euler vector field \(X(w)\) of the corresponding potential function acts semi-simply with respect to this structure. In the present paper the authors check this conjecture in the case when \(V\) is a complete intersection of dimension \(n \geq 3\) and of degree \((d_1,\ldots,d_r)\) in \({\mathbb P}^{n+r}\) with \((d_1+\ldots+d_r)-(n+r+1) < -n/2\) (except \(n = 7\) and \(d_1+\ldots+d_r = r+2\)). The computations rely on the previous work of \textit{A. Beauville} who computed the quantum cohomology of complete intersections [see Mat. Fiz. Anal. Geom. 2, No. 3-4, 384-398 (1995; Zbl 0863.14029)].
