For a flow \(\phi\) on a compact metric space \((M,d)\) and one of its ergodic measure \(\mu\) with support \(X\), three types of measure-theoretic entropy based on the minimal covering of \(X\), the weakly spanning set for \(X\) and the strongly separated subset of \(X\) denoted by \(e^1_{\mu}(\phi)\), \(e^2_{\mu}(\phi)\), \(e^3_{\mu}(\phi)\), respectively, are defined in this paper. It is proven that \(e^1_{\mu}(\phi)\leq e^2_{\mu}(\phi)\leq e^3_{\mu}(\phi)\) and for nonsingular flows, that is, fixed point free flows, they become equalities and all of them are not smaller than the usual measure-theoretic entropy \(h_{\mu}(\phi)\) given by the homeomorphism \(\phi_1\) at the time one where equalities hold in the case of \(X=M\). Moreover, for the conjugate flow \(\psi\) on the metric space \(M\) with invariant measure \(m\), these three types of measure-theoretic entropy are shown to be equivalent in the following sense: \(ce_m^i(\psi)\leq e_{\mu}^i(\phi)\leq Ce_m^i(\psi)\) \((i=1,2,3).\)
