Revêtements ramifiés de la droite projective complexe. (Ramified coverings of the complex projective line) (Q1374872)

The purpose of this work is to study the classification of the ramified coverings of the projective line determined by the type of the direct image of the sheaf of regular functions. To be more precise, to each ramified covering of degree \(r\) we associate \(r-1\) positive integer invariants determined by the direct image of the sheaf of regular functions; we try first to determine the sets of \(r-1\) positive integers which are the set of invariants of a covering and then to study the family of coverings with a fixed set of invariants.
