[For parts I and II, see \textit{D. Wright} and \textit{A. Yukie}, Invent. Math. 110, 283-314 (1992; Zbl 0803.12004) and \textit{A. Kable} and \textit{A. Yukie}, ibid. 130, No. 2, 315-344 (1997).] Let \((G,V)\) be a prehomogeneous vector space with a relative invariant \(\Delta (x)\), and let \((G_k,V_k)\) be a \(k\)-form of \((G,V)\). The orbit space \(G_k \setminus V_k^{ss}\) with \(V_k^{ss}: =\{x\in V^{ss} \mid\Delta (x)\neq 0\}\) parametrizes interesting arithmetic objects. In this paper, the author considers two prehomogeneous vector spaces related to the actions of a certain closed subgroup of \(\text{GL}_7\), constructs a map \(\alpha_V\) from the orbit space \(G_k \setminus V_k^{ss}\) to the set of Galois extensions of \(k\) which are splitting fields of degree 2 and investigates precisely the properties of \(\alpha v\).
