Let \(X\) be a space and let \((X)^n\) be its \(n\)-fold symmetric product. By an \(n\)-valued group structure on \(X\) is meant a mapping \(\mu\colon X\times X\to(X)^n\) with some additional properties such as associativity, strong unit and weak inverse (for details see also the authors' previous paper [Usp. Mat. Nauk 51, No. 4, 149-150 (1996; Zbl 0879.20042)]). Such groups are connected with some dynamical systems and can be regarded as a special class of hypergroups. Some of them can be considered as orbit space of a group \(G\) modulo a group \(A\) of automorphisms where \(A\) has \(n\) elements and give a particular case of Delsarte's construction in the theory of hypergroups. Multivalued group structures on euclidean spaces, spheres, and the Hopf algebra on \(F(G)\), where \(G\) has an \(n\)-valued group structure, are described in detail. Many nontrivial examples are given.
