A class of one-dimensional lattice gas models with discrete Boltzmann equation is studied. In these models particles travel as independent random walks and collide stochastically. In particular, each particle has a label \(\alpha \), where \(\alpha \) belongs to a finite set \(I\). A particle with label \(\alpha \) evolves as a random walk with mean \(\nu _\alpha \) on a one-dimensional lattice. Two particles collide with a probability which is inversely proportional to the total number of particles. If two particles collide, then they gain new labels with given rates. The asymptotic law of each particle is determined. It is shown that any finite number of particles evolves independently as the total number of particles goes to infinity. Such result is called as propagation of chaos.
