A note on matrix displacement representation (Q1378056)

The author presents some simplification and extension of results concerning the representation of a matrix as sum of products of matrices belonging to certain algebras. The main result of the author gives, as a by-product, several classes of representation formulas obtained by \textit{C. Di Fiore} and \textit{P. Zellini} [Linear Algebra Appl. 229, 49-99 (1995; Zbl 0839.15010)] and others (see op. cit.). Notice that the paper is almost self-contained.
