On rationality of logarithmic \(\mathbb{Q}\)-homology planes. II (Q1378330)

This is the second of a three part article answering certain questions about \(\mathbb{Q}\)-homology planes. The first part appeared in Osaka J. Math. 34, No. 2, 429-456 (1997; see the preceding review) and was reviewed by the reviewer and it was authored by the second and third author above. In this second paper, the authors prove that the surface \(V\) as in question (B) [see the review above] is not of general type.
