This book is a collection of 66 theorems on classical entropy (Shannon), quantum entropy (Von Neumann) and their possible relation with thermodynamics, displayed in 7 chapters. Chapter 1 (Introduction, 10 pages). Chapter 2 (37 pages) recalls the essentials of classical (Shannon) information. Chapter 3 (40 pages) bears in mind the essentials of quantum entropy. Chapter 4 (15 pages) deals with the dynamics of complexity identified with entropy. Various entropic models are considered (entropy, mutual entropy, Kolmogorov-Sinai entropy, and even fuzzy entropy!). Chapter 5 (41 pages) presents the information-theoretic approach to incomplete description of quantum systems, which is mainly based upon Jaynes maximum entropy principle extended to quantum entropy. We then have the parallel of well known results in the classical information theory, regarding state estimation. Chapter 6 (21 pages), develops the basic ideas of Chapter 5, and deals with the estimation of the Hamiltonian. Chapter 7 (32 pages) provides the extension of the so-called master equation to quantum systems. And Chapter 8 (34 pages) analyzes the relations between fractals and information. Despite its title, this book is mainly focused on quantum entropy. In section 2, there is a hint on information without probability, but unfortunately the pionnering work of Kampé de Fériet has been forgotten. The essentials of Chapter 3 have been already published elsewhere by one of the authors. Chapter 4 identifies complexity with entropy, but it is well known that this is not so simple. Defining complexity is very very \dots complex. In the section related to self-organization and biology, the basic contribution of \textit{Gatlin} [J. Theor. Biol. 10, 281-300 (1966), 18, 181-194 (1998)] is missing. Relations between classical informations and fractals have been put in evidence by other authors, independently [Physica A 184, No. 3-4, 499-523 (1992)].
