The authors deal with a particular nonautonomous Duffing differential equation with a cubic restoring force, and a periodic external force. The particularity lies in the fact that the periodic force is chosen such that a sinusoidal function of period one is a solution to the equation. The amplitude of the sinusoid is considered as a parameter. The text purpose is a bifurcation analytical study of this solution, limited to a change of its asymptotic stability in this paper. The authors justify the study of this particular situation saying that mathematical proofs of the bifurcation existence for the periodic solutions to the Duffing equation do not exist. This assertion is wrong. Indeed the problem of the stability of periodic solutions to general ordinary differential equations with a periodic excitation, and in particular Duffing's one, has been considered since a long time (see the monographs by Krylov-Bogoljubov between 1930-1938, and the references (1)--(5)). Being limited to the loss of stability, the paper does not inform on the nature of the qualitative change induced by the bifurcation (subharmonic solution by period doubling, or other). About the numerical simulations, figure 4 is not the trivial solution, but an oscillation of period one with higher harmonics. In figure 6 the value of ``lambda'' is not correct. The figures show the coexistence of several solutions of period one, which is known (cf. the Kawakami and Ueda papers). (1) \textit{N. N. Bogolyubov} and \textit{Yu. A.
