    The important research in this paper constitutes part of a doctoral thesis written at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. The main result is: Theorem: Let \(\{\varphi_i\}\) be a sequence of discrete faithful representations of a finitely generated, torsion-free abstract group \(G\) into \(\text{PSL}(2,\mathbb{C})\). Suppose the sequence is converging strongly to a representation \(\varphi_\alpha\) so that \(\Gamma=\varphi_\alpha(G)\) is geometrically finite. Then there is an index \(I\), so that for each \(i>I\) the group \(\Gamma_i=\varphi_i(G)\) is geometrically finite. He finishes by sharpening his main result to show that the volume function, when restricted to the convex cores, is continuous if the sequence of representations is converging strongly. We think that one can find some other important results and examples in this work.
