A Kähler \(C\)-space is a compact simply connected homogeneous Kähler manifold \((M,g,J)\). It was proven by the author in a previous paper that the \(n\)-th covariant derivative of type \((1,0)\) of the curvature tensor of \((M,g,J)\) vanishes for \(n\) sufficiently large. The smallest such integer is called the degree of \((M,g,J)\). Kähler \(C\)-spaces of degree \(\leq 3\) were classified by the author. A Riemannian (respectively Kählerian) \(k\)-symmetric space is a Riemannian (resp. Kählerian) manifold \((M,g)\) (resp. \((M,g,J))\) such that for all \(x \in M\) there exists an isometry (resp. holomorphic isometry) of order \(k\) with \(x\) as isolated fixed point. Let \((M,g)\) be a Riemannian \(k\)-symmetric space and \(x\in M\) a point. Then it is known that there exists a closed connected transitive subgroup \(G\subset\text{Isom}(M,g)\) and \(\sigma\in \Aut(G)\) of order \(k\) with fixed point set \(G^\sigma\) such that the stabilizer \(H= G_x\) satisfies \(G^\sigma_0 \subset H\subset G^\sigma\). Any such pair \((G,H)\) is called a \(k\)-symmetric pair. Further, it is known that any Kähler \(C\)-space is a Kählerian \(k\)-symmetric space for some \(k\). Using the classification of Kähler \(C\)-spaces of degree \(\leq 3\), the author characterizes Kähler \(C\)-spaces of degree 3 as the compact simply connected Kählerian 3-symmetric spaces which are not symmetric. Finally, he proves that every compact simply connected irreducible Riemannian 3-symmetric space \((M,g)\) can be uniquely presented as \(M= G/H\) with \((G,H)\) a 3-symmetric pair. The group \(G\) is the identity component of the full isometry group \(\text{Isom} (M,g)\).
