The paper yields a \(q\)-analogue of the approximate inclusion-exclusion formula of \textit{N. Linial} and \textit{N. Nisan} [Combinatorica 10, No. 4, 349-365 (1990; Zbl 0738.05009)]. The author uses for approximation purposes the \(q\)-inclusion-exclusion formula of \textit{W. Y. C. Chen} and \textit{G.-C. Rota} [Discrete Math. 104, No. 1, 7-22 (1992; Zbl 0806.05010)].
