Suppose that \(f(x)\in \mathbb{Z}[x]\), \(k,n\in\mathbb{N}\) and let \[ D_f(n)= \min\bigl\{k>0: f(1),f(2), \dots, f(n)\text{ are pairwise incongruent modulo } k\bigr\}. \] The author provides a subset of \(\mathbb{Z}[x]\) that characterizes \(D_f(n)\) for sufficiently large \(n\).
