This paper classifies the Lie-CR-structures of a real Lie algebra, \({\mathfrak g}_0\). A Lie-CR-structure is defined as a triple \(({\mathfrak g}_0, {\mathfrak p}, J)\) such that \({\mathfrak p}\) is an ideal in \({\mathfrak g}_0\) and \(J\) is an endomorphism of \({\mathfrak p}\) whose square is minus the identity. This structure is a special case of the more general notion of a \textit{CR-structure} on a real Lie algebra which is equivalent to giving a CR-structure on the associated Lie group, \(G_0\), for which left translation is a CR-map. Having a Lie-CR-structure adds the conditions that \(G_0\) is foliated with complex Lie subgroups and that right translation is also a CR-map. The paper uses the Levi-Malcev decomposition to reduce the problem to classifying Lie-CR-structures in the semisimple and solvable cases. In the semisimple case, a Lie-CR-structure is determined by a complex structure on some of its simple ideals. In the solvable case, the Lie-CR-structures are essentially given by the choice of an even-dimensional ideal.
