The subject of the present paper is \(p\)-adic holomorphic curves and \(p\)-adic Kobayashi hyperbolicity. For a prime number \(p\) denote by \(Q_p\) the field of \(p\)-adic numbers and by \(\mathbb{C}_p\) the \(p\)-adic completion of the algebraic closure of \(Q_p\). A \(p\)-adic holomorphic curve is a holomorphic map \(f:\mathbb{C}_p \to P^n (\mathbb{C}_p)\) from \(p\)-adic plane to the projective space. Let further \(M_j= z_1^{\alpha_j,1} \dots z_{n+1}^{j,n+1}\), \(1\leq j\leq s\) be distinct monomials of degree \(d\) with nonnegative exponents. A hypersurface \(X\) in \(P^n (\mathbb{C}_p)\) defined by \(c_1M_1+ \cdots+ c_jM_j=0\), where \(c_j\in \mathbb{C}^*_p\) are non-zero constants, the authors call a perturbation of the Fermat hypersurface of degree \(d\) if \(j> n+1\) and \(M_j=z_j^d\), for \(j=1, \dots, n+1\). Theorem 3.1. Let \(X\) be a perturbation of the Fermat hypersurface of degree \(d\) in \(P^n (\mathbb{C}_p)\) and let \(f\) be a holomorphic curve in \(X\). If \(d\geq {(n+1) (s-1) (s-2) \over 2}\) then the image of \(f\) lies in a proper algebraic subset of \(X\). This theorem is applied to give an explicit of \(p\)-adic hyperbolic surfaces in \(P^3 (\mathbb{C}_p)\) and curves in \(P^2 (\mathbb{C}_p)\) with hyperbolic complements.
