The complete classification of typical second-order linear partial-differential equations on the plane (Q1385858)

We obtain smooth normal forms of the typical second-order linear partial-differential equation on the plane (TDE) in a neighborhood of resonance-folded singular points of the saddle and node types of the web of its characteristic curves. Together with the Laplace equations wave equation, Cibrario equation, and normal forms of such equations in a neighborhood of nonresonance singular points, these normalized form supply the complete list of canonical forms of TDE.
