The author considers two finite difference schemes for an optimal control problem governed by a linear parabolic equation in a rectangular plane domain. Provided some uniform smoothness of controls, the author formulates three theorems which contain estimates for the rate of convergence of approximate solutions as mesh parameters tend to zero.
