Real interpolation of a family of spaces of smooth functions (Q1385970)

The solution of some problems which were formulated long ago in the theory of real interpolation is announced. In particular, the authors give a formula for the \(K\)-functional of the pair \((W_{p_0}^{k_0},W_{p_1}^{k_1})\), for distinct \(p\)'s and distinct \(k\)'s, assuming that \(W_{p_0}^{k_0}\) is compactly embedded in \(W_{p_1}^{k_1}\). Other results and formulas are also stated.
