Positive solutions to a system of differential equations modeling a competitive interactive system with nonlogistic growth rates (Q1386298)

The existence of positive solutions to a system of differential equations which model a competitive system is studied. In this model each population has an increasing growth rate for positive populations which is contrary to the usual logistic growth. Models with these properties can exhibit the Allee effect, that is, if the population is not large enough it will tend to the zero steady state.
