Optimal Young's inequality and its converse: A simple proof (Q1386746)

This is a noteworthy paper. The author gives a new proof of the sharp form of Young's inequality and its converse inequality for convolutions. The author states that his proof is easygoing and elementary compared to the proof given by \textit{H. J. Brascamp} and \textit{E. H. Lieb} in their fundamental paper [Adv. Math. 20, 151-173 (1976; Zbl 0339.26020)], but, in my view, the present proof applies some deep results and considerations, too. However, it is true that the author gives a reputable unified treatment of the Young inequality and its converse inequality.
