For a control system of the form \(\sum_{i=0}^n a_ix^{(i)}(t) = ku(t)\), let \(\mu = \text{tan } \phi\) be a given value of oscillation that limits the distribution of a closed system's roots by a sector \(\pi \pm \phi\). The authors consider the problem of synthesis of a control \(u(t) = - \sum_{l=1}^m b_lx^{(l-1)}(t)\), \(0<m<n-1\), that provides a maximum degree of stability to the system. A numerical example of regulator synthesis for an electrohydraulic monitoring drive of a manipulator is given.
