Let \(S_{\overline m}\) represent the rectangular partial sums of a series with respect to a generalized multiple Haar system. (A generalized Haar system, which depends on radices \(p_1,p_2,\dots\), can be defined using Hadamard transforms of multiplicative Vilenkin systems in the same way that the classical Haar system can be defined using the Walsh system.) The author announces that uniqueness holds for these multiple Haar systems, namely that under suitable growth conditions, if \(S_{\overline m}\) ``converges'' to some Perron integrable \(f\), then \(S\) is the multiple Haar-Fourier series of \(f\). The growth conditions and the type of ``convergence'' used here, identical to those used by \textit{V. A. Skvortsov} and \textit{A. A. Talaljan} [Mat. Zametki 46, No. 2, 104-113 (1989; Zbl 0696.42022)] for the multidimensional Haar system (i.e., the case \(p_j\equiv 2\) for all \(j\)), have their roots in the one-dimensional Haar case considered by the reviewer [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 99, 61-65 (1987; Zbl 0614.42016)].
