    The paper concerns a priori estimates for the spatial gradient of the solution of the initial-boundary value problem \[ \begin{cases} u_{tt}-\Delta u=0\\ u(0,x)= 0,\;u_t(0,x)= g(x)\end{cases}\quad\text{in }\Omega, \] \[ u= 0\quad\text{on }\partial\Omega. \] Here \(\Omega\subset \mathbb{R}^n\) is a so-called \(G_\varphi\)-domain, its boundary is infinite, and \(n\geq 9\).
