Real hypersurfaces in \(\mathbb{C}^2\) are studied, homogeneous with respect to biholomorphic transformations, from a local point of view. The author considers germs of hypersurfaces, and infinitesimal biholomorphic transformations acting locally transitively. It is expected that the family of parameters determining non-equivalent homogeneous hypersurfaces is finite-dimensional. Apparently, Moser normal forms should be useful for this classification question. However, there is a difficulty: if only one lowest coefficient in the normal form does not depend on the chain parameter then the surface is not homogeneous. This negative result is the main point of the paper.
