    The Borel classification of spaces \(\mathcal M_{\alpha}\), \(\mathcal A_{\alpha}\) begins with the class of Polish spaces \(\mathcal M_1\) and \(\sigma\)-compact spaces \(\mathcal A_1\). It is proven that for any \(n\geq 0\) and for any \(1\leq \alpha<\omega_1\) there exist \(n\)-soft maps \(F_m:X_m\to Q\) and \(f_a:X_a\to Q\) of \(n\)-dimensional spaces \(X_m\in\mathcal M_{\alpha}\) and \(X_{\mathcal A}\in \mathcal A_{\alpha}\) onto the Hilbert cube. For \(\mathcal M_1\) this result was proved first by \textit{A. Ch. Chigogidze} [Math. Notes 46, No. 1, 558-562 (1989); translation from Mat. Zametki 46, No. 1, 88-95 (1989; Zbl 0741.54008)].
