On certain meromorphic \(p\)-valent functions (Q1387748)

For a fixed positive integer \(p\) let \(f(z)=z^{-p}+\sum^\infty_{k=0}a_kz^k\) be an analytic function in the region \(E=\{z:0< | z|<1\}\). Let \(D\) stand for the operator defined by \[ D^1f(z)= z^{-p}+ \sum^\infty_{k=0} (p+k+1) a_kz^k, \quad D^nf(z) =D\bigl(D^{n-1} f(z)\bigr),\;n=1,2, \dots \] The author makes use of a result due to \textit{S. Miller} and \textit{P. Mocanu} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 65, 289-305 (1978; Zbl 0379.34003)] to study properties of the operator \(D\).
