Closed expressions for Lie algebra invariants and finite transformations (Q1388196)

The paper deals with Lie groups and algebras and their invariants. A general method to obtain the invariants is presented. The paper consists of 8 Sections. The closed expressions for the scalar and operational Lie algebra invariants are presented in Section 2. The closed differential forms describing the characteristic classes of fiber bundles on even-dimensional differentiable manifolds are considered in Section 4. The closed expressions for Lorentz and Poincaré transformations are presented in Sections 5 and 6. The applications of the method for the Galilei group are considered in Section 7.
