The paper investigates the digital implementation of continuous-time composite feedback control for a class of singularly perturbed systems. A continuous-time stabilizing composite feedback control is constructed following the method of \textit{A. Saberi} and \textit{H. Khalil} [IEEE Trans. Autom. Control AC-30, 739-747 (1985; Zbl 0567.93040)]. The discretization of the feedback is performed in a multirate fashion: slow variables are measured at a rate slower than the fast variables. Sufficient conditions for the slow and fast sampling periods that guarantee the preservation of the exponential stability property are derived. The permissible range of the singular perturbation parameter as well as the degree of exponential stability is estimated using a composite Lyapunov function. The theoretical results are illustrated by a numerical example.
