Self maps of spaces (Q1389874)

The authors generalize some results of \textit{D. Haibao} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 104, No. 4, 1284-1286 (1988; Zbl 0689.55005); Q. J. Math., Oxf. II. Ser. 44, No. 175, 315-325 (1993; Zbl 0806.55002)], and extend some of their own results [Mem. Fac. Sci., Kochi Univ., Ser. A 16, 71-80 (1995; Zbl 0853.55016); correction ibid. 17, 141-142 (1996; Zbl 0853.55017)]. The results contained in the four theorems proved in the paper under review are too technical to be reported here.
