Mean approximation of functions by algebraic polynomials (Q1390421)

There are formulated several direct and inverse approximation theorems with generalized (averaged) moduli of continuity of \(f\in L^2(p(x), (a,b))\). The special case of these results were yet considered by S. Z. Rafal'son and the authors.
